Chargé d`Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada Mithat Pasic Visits Canadian Forces Base "Borden" and Participates in Marking the International Day

On October 1st, 2009, Chargé d`Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada Mithat Pasic visited Canadian Forces Base "Borden" (CFB Borden) and participated in marking the International Day where attendants of the English Language School „Canadian Forces Language School” (CFLS) presented notabilities, culture, cuisine and souvenirs of their respective countries.

Chargé d`Affaires a.i. Pasic thanked the CFLS representatives for sending regular invitations to BiH representatives to participate in the training as well as for extraordinary conditions for staying and studying that are provided to our representatives at CFB Borden. He also met with high-ranking officials and officers of participating countries in this event as well as Canadian Army officers. 

The presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was organised by the school attendees Aleksandar Crnogorac and Aidin Smaibegovic from BiH Ministry of Defense, Major Dinko Ivkovic from the Armed Forces of BiH with assistance of the Congress of North American Bosniaks,  Bosnian Islamic Association from Toronto and Embassy of BiH in Ottawa. The training of high-ranking officers and military officials in CBF Borden is implemented for four years and it is the first time for Embassy of BiH in Ottawa to participate in organising this event. 

Participants coming from 20 countries all over the world participated in marking the International Day and, together with numerous guests, rated the stand of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the most beautiful in terms of arrangement and the food and drinks offered as best tasting.
