Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada Mithat Pasic in a One-Day Visit to Glengarry-Prescott-Russell District

Mithat Pasic, Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada, visited Glengarry-Prescott-Russell district on September 2nd, 2009 at the invitation of Jean-Marc Lalonde, member of the Ontario Province Parliament and representative of Glengarry-Prescott-Russell district.

During his one-day visit, Charge d’Affaires a.i. Pasic visited modern production plants at factories that produce pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and wooden construction components. In addition, he met with the mayors of nine cities in this district and discussed possibilities to establish economic cooperation with B&H companies with similar production.       

After being informed about the production capabilities of the B&H economy, his hosts expressed interest in establishing cooperation, due to the fact that Canada is looking for ways to expand economic and trade cooperation overseas as cooperation in the past was carried out mainly with the US.
