Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Muhamed Al-Sabah Receives Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the State of Kuwait Jasin Ravasde

On November 10th, 2009, Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Muhamed Al-Sabah received Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the State of Kuwait Jasin Ravasde. On this occasion, Ambassador Ravasde presented Minister Al-Sabah with a Note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stating that the Ministry gives its approval to the establishment of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in BiH.

Ambassador Ravasde conveyed to Minister Al-Sabah that BiH authorities are very pleased with the decision of the Government of Kuwait to open a diplomatic mission in BiH. He also emphasized that the MFA of BiH as well as all other BiH institutions will provide the diplomatic staff of the Kuwaiti Embassy with all the assistance they may require.

In addition, Ambassador Ravasde also conveyed greetings from Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Sven Alkalaj to Minister Al-Sabah, adding that the opening of the Kuwaiti Embassy in BiH will serve as a great stimulus for strengthening relations between the two countries.     

Minister Al-Sabah expressed the hope that the upcoming visit by the Prime Minister of Kuwait to our country will be a great step forward in relations between BiH and Kuwait. He also stated that he is willing to meet with Minister Alkalaj either in BiH or Kuwait.
