Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Stuttgart Hariz Halilovic Meets with Mayor of Mainz Jens Beutel

On August 11th, 2009, Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Stuttgart Hariz Halilovic met with Mayor of Mainz Jens Beutel.

Consul General Halilovic expressed appreciation to Mayor Beutel for the assistance which Mainz, capital of German Federal State of Rheinland-Pfalz, extended to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who were residing in this State as refugees in the period from 1993 to 1995.

Mayor Beutel spoke favorably about more than 850 citizens from our country who are currently living in Mainz and promised assistance in establishing a BiH supplementary school as well as in organizing a cultural and economic presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this city.

Consul General Halilovic and Mayor Beutel also spoke about cultural, scientific, educational, sports, and economic cooperation between cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mainz, for which, as they emphasized, there are great possibilities.
