Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic Visits Stavanger

On October 12th, 2009 Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic visited the Stavanger Chamber of Commerce and non-governmental association Jaren Produktutvikling and, on that occasion, discussed possibilities for economic cooperation between this Norwegian region and B&H.

The Stavanger Chamber of Commerce has 3,500 members, cooperates with more than 15,000 companies and operates in the most developed areas of Norway.

Non-governmental association Jaren Produktutvikling has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1997 and  participated in establishing 14 agricultural cooperatives in B&H which market their products in the Kingdom of Norway. Thanks to the activities of this association, potatoes from B&H are sold in Norway, and from December of this year, our country  will also start exporting apples.

More than 2,000 B&H citizens are currently residing in Stavanger and surrounding areas, so Ambassador Kovacevic took this opportunity to speak with the president of B&H Citizens Association in Stavanger Suad Fazlic.
