The Donation of the Ultrasound Scanner to the Health Care Institute of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton Realized Successfully in Chicago

Following the weeks-long coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Consulate General of  B&H in Chicago, and at the request of the Health Care Institute of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, the donation of the ultrasound scanner was realized successfully.

President of the Chicago Home Healthcare Dr. Ram Gajjela donated this valuable equipment, secured technical validity of the scanner and installed additional components. An additional gynecological probe was obtained thanks to the donation of the Bosnian-American Cultural Association (BACA), while Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Science also joined this action.

On the occasion of taking over the scanner, Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago Eldin Kajevic  thanked donors for this noble gesture on behalf of the employees of the Institute and the MFA of B&H, emphasizing that this action has shown that B&H has its friends in the USA, that experts of B&H origin did not forget about their colleagues in their homeland and that there are lot of associations of citizens who are originally from B&H that are willing to assist their country.
