Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Hungary Nikola Dukic Attends the Ceremony of Announcing the Return and Farewell of 19 BiH Citizens from the Debrecen Centre in Hungary to Jakes Centre in BiH
On October 14th and 15th, 2009 in Debrecen, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Hungary Nikola Dukic attended the ceremony of announcing the return and farewell of 19 BiH citizens (who are mentally ill) from the Debrecen Centre in Hungary to Jakes Centre in BiH.
In his address, on the occasion of farewell ceremony, Ambassador Dukic thanked the Republic of Hungary, Government Office for Immigration and Nationality, Director General of this institution Zsuzsann Vegh and her collaborators, UNHCR, Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH as well as the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of RS for admission of BiH citizens and providing them humane treatment, other assistance they needed during their long-standing residence in the Debrecen Centre but also for organizing their repatriation to BiH. He wished our citizens a pleasant and joyful return to their homeland.
A delegation of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, led by Assistant Minister Mario Nenadic, attended the ceremony as well as numerous print and electronic media from Hungary and the BHTV1 crew.
The convoy with a group of returnees was escorted on October 15th, 2009 at 08:00 A.M. from the Debrecen Centre to BiH and it arrived in Jakes Centre in the evening hours of the same day.
