Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Miranda Sidran-Kamisalic Attends a Session of the World Halal Forum

At the invitation of Hajjah Jumaatun Azmi, Founder and Director of the World Halal Forum, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Miranda Sidran-Kamisalic attended the session of this Forum, which was held on November 17th and 18th, 2009 in The Hague.   

This was the first time that the Forum, organized by the Government of Malaysia with the support of relevant Dutch authorities and the City of The Hague, was held in Europe.

Mustafa effendi Ceric, Rais al-Ulama of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took part in the Forum's work on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina along with Nermin Canic, Head Imam of the IRC of Bosniacs in Holland, and Amir Sakic, Director of the BiH Agency for Halal Quality Certification. Rais al-Ulama Ceric also gave a one-hour introductory presentation during the Forum.

Participants of the Forum stated that they expect the Halal industry to grow and that Bosnia and Herzegovina will have an opportunity for a more significant participation in this branch in the future.
