Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Slovenia Zdravko Begovic Attends Tanja Fajon's Lecture at the „IFIMES“ Center in Ljubljana
On November 19th, 2009 in Ljubljana, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Slovenia Zdravko Begovic attended a lecture held by Tanja Fajon, European rapporteur for visa liberalization with the Western Balkans countries and member of the European Parliament, the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs as well as the Committee on Transportation and Tourism. The topic of the lecture was „West Balkan States to the EU without Visas – Dividing the States into Good and Bad Ones“. This lecture was organized by the International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) in Ljubljana.
In addition to Ambassador Begovic, diplomats from the Embassies of BiH, the Republic of Albania, and the Republic of Croatia, members of the press as well as representatives of the BiH diaspora in Slovenia also attended the lecture.
During her presentation, Tanja Fajon placed special emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress in implementing Road Map obligations and reiterated her regret for the fact that her proposal to grant Bosnia and Herzegovina provisional inclusion on the „Schengen White List“ was not accepted.
