Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic Opens a Showroom of B&H-Norwegian Company “Selma Kjokken"

On October 23rd, 2009, in As Municipality, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic formally opened a kitchen showroom of B&H –Norwegian company “Selma Kjokken".

In her address during the opening ceremony, Ambassador Kovacevic stated that this is a good example of successful economic cooperation between B&H and Norway. She expressed her belief that other B&H citizens, following the example of this company’s director Sead Sejtanlic, will dare to undertake greater business endeavors and that Norwegian investors will decide to invest in various economic sectors in B&H.

Apart from its showrooms in Norway, the “Selma Kjokken" company also has production plants in B&H from which its products are exported to Norway.

After the formal opening, Ambassador Kovacevic spoke with businessmen from B&H who live and work in Norway. On this occasion, they launched an initiative to establish a B&H business club with the aim of improving coordination in this market.

As Mayor Johan Alnes, Ambassadors of Austria, Croatia, Serbia, and Turkey to Norway, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway and numerous Norwegian and B&H business partners of this company also attended the opening ceremony.
