Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic Meets with Delegation from NGO “Stecak”

On November 24th, 2009, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Elma Kovacevic met with a delegation of the non-governmental organization  “Stecak” from Norway.

The members of this delegation informed Ambassador Kovacevic about their future activities, particularly about the motivational project for B&H citizens in terms of forthcoming elections in B&H.

“Stecak”, the B&H association established in 2007 which now has 273 members, is dedicated to connecting young persons of B&H origin who live in Norway. It represents Norway in the “Association of Bosnians and Herzegovinians in the World” (UMIS) which, as the umbrella association of B&H youth in the world, will be able to articulate interests of this population and to represent it in other institutions and in the public arena. From April 2009, “Stecak” became a member of the umbrella organization of the Norwegian Children and Youth Council (LNU), along with 80 other Norwegian youth organizations.
