Newly-appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica to Bosnia and Herzegovina with residence in Vienna Ana Teresa Dengo Benavides handed the copies of credentials  to Dragan Pjevic, Head of Division for Immunities and Privileges at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Dragan Pjevic, Head of Division for Immunities and Privileges at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovinareceived on August 26th 2008 the newly-appointed non-resident Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina with residence in Vienna Ana Teresa Dengo Benavides, who handed copies of credentials on this occasion.

Head of Division Pjević welcomed Ambassador Dengo Benavides and expressed satisfaction with decision of the Republic of Costa Rica to appoint Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time. Head of Division Pjević congratulated on the occasion of election of Costa Rica as the non-permanent member to the Security Council and asked for support of Costa Rica to BIH candidacy in the OUN Security Council for 2010 – 2011.

Ambassador Benavides highlighted that the very fact that Costa Rica has appointed its Ambassador to BIH speaks in favor of intention to intensify relations between two countries in all spheres.

Head of Division Pjević and Ambassador Dengo Benavides agreed there is a room for more dynamic multilateral cooperation within international organizations in which both BIH and Costa Rica participate, especially within the OUN system.
