Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago Eldin Kajević Has Opened a Panel Discussion on the Subject of “Importance of Public Appearance and Testimony”
On December 5th, 2009, Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago Eldin Kajević, in premises of Bosnian Library in Chicago, with welcoming speech has opened a panel discussion on the subject of “Importance of Public Appearance and Testimony.” This panel discussion has been organized by General Manager of the Library Ms. Selena Seferović and General Manager of Bosnian and Herzegovinian and American Institute of Genocide Ms. Sanja Drnovšek.
Special guest of the Discussion was Mr. Muhamed Gafić, who has, after foreword of Mr. Taib Čelik, author of the book “Commando”, promoted his two books "Odyssey 7000" and "Sarajevo Roulette".
Speech was made by the University of Illinois Psychiatry Doctor, member of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian and American Institute of Genocide and member of the B&H – American Academy of Science and Art dr. Steven Weine. Dr. Weine presented his book: “Testimony After Catastrophe: Importance of Public Appearance and Testimony.“
Also, guests had a chance to hear lecture by Dr. Carlos Gabler, Sociology Doctor and Chilean dissident, who spoke about his suffering and experience as a political activist during Pinochet dictatorship.
