Ambassador of B&H to the Czech Republic Ivan Orlic Organizes a Farewell Meeting with the Diplomatic Corps in Prague, Representatives of the Czech Public Life and B&H Diaspora in the Czech Republic

On December 7th, 2009, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic Ivan Orlic bid official farewell and concluded his mandate in front of 50 ambassadors accredited to Prague, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomas Pojar, representatives of the Czech public life and B&H diaspora.

While speaking on behalf of the diplomatic corps in Prague, H.E. Apostolic Nuncio, Doyen Diego Causero emphasized that the first B&H Ambassador to the Czech Republic has made a great contribution to development of relations between the two friendly countries, adding that B&H Embassy and Ambassador contributed to the overall diplomatic life in Prague.

Ambassador Orlic expressed appreciation for the words of support for his country and himself and welcomed those present stating that B&H has been and still is a part of Europe and that multiethnicity is its historical and contemporary treasure.

“We are looking for our perspective in the community of the European peoples and I am convinced that we will find it there”, Ambassador stated. He also expressed appreciation to the Czech Republic and its citizens for support which they extended in the hard times and which they are extending today.
