President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Premysl Sobotka Receives Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic Ivan Orlic in His Farewell Visit

On December 9th, 2009, President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Premysl Sobotka received Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Czech Republic Ivan Orlic in the latter’s farewell visit.

During a cordial and friendly conversation, President of the Senate Sobotka reiterated that the Czech Republic will continue supporting B&H in its efforts to become a full-fledged member of the EU and NATO as well as assisting Parliamentary Assembly of B&H to adjust its legislature to European standards, since the Czech Republic has done it successfully.

He commended Parliamentary cooperation as an illustration of overall cooperation between the two friendly countries and expressed the wish to organize a meeting at the highest level between the two Parliaments during the next year. He also congratulated Ambassador Orlic for the results he made during his mandate.

Ambassador Orlic expressed appreciation for the good wishes adding that he believes that a good foundation for continuing bilateral cooperation in all fields of the intergovernmental relations has been created.
