B&H and the Republic of Austria in the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Vienna

On December 29th, 2009, in the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Vienna, the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IM B&H) and the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying of the Republic of Austria (Bundesamt für Eich-und Vermessungswesen-BEV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The Memorandum was signed by IM B&H Director Esad Tuzovic and BEV Office Director Arnold Leitner.

The Memorandum mainly covers technical cooperation in the field of metrology and is supposed to ensure a basis for exchange of scientific and technical knowledge and contribute to strengthening the scientific and technical capacities of the IM B&H and BEV. It also envisages the exchange of scientific and technical information, bilateral comparison of standards as well as visits and trainings for staff. The Memorandum will be in force for five years from the date of signing.
