Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj received the farewell letter of former European Union High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana, in which is stated gratitude for past support and cooperation.

"It was a pleasure and honour to cooperate with you on strengthening our bilateral relations. The European Union positioned itself as a key partner to your country.

Entering into force the Lisbon Treaty, we in Europe, set up a solid foundation on whose basis the European Union will additionally be strengthened with regard to its work on building peace and prosperity in the world. On my behalf, I will continue to work in that sense," quotes in the letter of Javier Solana.
