On June 7 2007, after the official meeting between the two delegations, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Petras Vaitiekunas held press conference.

Minister Alkalaj informed on their discussion about European integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, bilateral and multilateral cooperation of the two countries and improvement of economic exchange. Minister Alkalaj expressed his satisfaction with Lithuanian readiness to provide support and help to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to Euro-Atlantic integrations in a form of regional cooperation, especially through cooperation between Baltic and Adriatic Charter signatory countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Vaitiekunas assessed today’s discussion as useful and pragmatic, and expressed his desire for improvement of the economic cooperation between the two countries. He underlined that the Summit of the Baltic and Adriatic signatory countries, planned for 2008 in Vilnius, will give its full support to B-H`s accession to EU and NATO.
