On June 14 2007, after the meeting of the two delegations, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Kinga Göncz held a press conference.

Minister Alkalaj expressed satisfaction with the successful visit of Minister Göncz. The main topics of the discussion were Euro-Atlantic integrations. Minister Alkalaj emphasized that the political relations between the two countries are very good, without open issues. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B-H Minister Alkalaj accepted with pleasure the offered help by Hungarian experts in connection to B-H accession to EU.

Minister Göncz stated that Hungary is providing its full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards full membership in EU and NATO, and that in this context more intensive consultations are planned between the two Ministries.

Ministers Alkalaj and Göncz agreed that there is a significant space for better and more concrete economic cooperation, especially in the field of construction of south transverse, which would connect Hungary with the sea and in this context Hungarian investors are interested in construction of Corridor VC Motorway. The Ministers informed they have intensified mutual visits at high level, such as recent visit to B-H of the President of Hungarian Parliament, whereas visits of the Hungarian President to B-H and of Chairman of B-H Council of Ministers to Hungary are also planned.
