On 29th of May, 2007, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sven Alkalaj held regular press conference with a view to inform about intensive diplomatic activities in the past month.

Minister Alkalaj informed the press that he participated at 45 meetings held in 9 countries on three respective continents, four of which were bilateral visits, and at five international meetings at ministerial level. Minister Alkalaj underlined that all discussions were occasions for strengthening of friendly relations and economic ties between the countries, as well as for reaffirmation of democratic commitment of B-H on its path towards Euro-Atlantic Integrations, and exchange of opinions on reform process necessary for signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement.

Minister Alkalaj especially emphasized the successes of B-H diplomacy: nomination of Sarajevo for the seat of Regional Cooperation Council Secretariat (RCC) and election of Bosnia and Herzegovina to UN Human Rights Council.

During the conference new website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was presented, which is now available also in English.
